If you have lost your dog and you live in the Swansea area, contact the City and County of Swansea dog warden. If you have lost your dog and you live in the Carmarthenshire County Council area see the Carmarthenshire County Council stray dogs page for instructions on how to check whether it has been found by the dog warden. You only have 7 days to claim your dog so keep checking with the kennels. There is no out of hours dog warden service in the Carmarthenshire area. Dogs are only collected during office hours by the dog warden (9.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday only). There is NO collection service Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays. The Police are no longer responsible for the collection of stray dogs. If your dog has been stolen it may be dumped in a neighbouring councils area and will end up at their kennels. Make sure your dog is microchipped and the contact information kept by Petlog is up to date.
